These falls are at the top entrance to Marble Canyon in Kootenay National Park. It's a short trek from the parking lot making a welcome break from a lengthy road trip and one of my favourite places regardless of whether it's early Spring or late Fall. The turquoise to deep cobalt blue water sliding over rocks to froth and foam at the base in swirls and abstract shapes mesmerize one to forget all but that moment. September 2002 |
