We had just arrived on Salt Spring Island when I noticed this sail boat.  Since I seem to be drawn towards water and the various distorted reflections this was a given for a future painting. I have no knowledge of sailboats or their various parts and pieces so once the painting was completed I asked a neighbour who was well versed on sail boats to check that I hadn’t missed anything important.  It seems I hadn’t.
